๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ LSTM Cell Gates Visualizer

Watch real droplets shrink as they squeeze through each gate valve.

๐Ÿ“‹ What Am I Looking At? (Read This First)
  1. The top pipe is the Cell State โ€” LSTM's long-term memory highway.
  2. For EACH word: a red droplet (the OLD cell state) drops down and squeezes through the Forget Gate valve, physically shrinking. A green droplet (the NEW word) rises up through the Input Gate valve, also shrinking. They merge and flow back onto the highway.
  3. A droplet's size shrinking IS the gate's Sigmoid value multiplying it โ€” 0 = shrinks to nothing, 1 = passes full-size. That's the Multiplication Lock.
  4. The gold thread below the highway tracks ONLY word 1's surviving contribution โ€” watch it thin out (or not) as more words process.
  5. Press โ–ถ Play Sequence and watch each word's droplets move โ€” one word at a time, not instantly.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ PROF. TORCHA Forget Gate near 1.0 is what makes LSTM different from a plain RNN โ€” old memory barely shrinks at all as it passes through.
